Super Brocoli

We went to visit my friends Dawn and Mike to see their new garden.
My son got to pick out a brocoli to take home. He loves brocoli, which is good because he doesn't like a lot of other vegetables. He got to wear his Superman shirt and cape today. He took a break from it for about a week, but rediscovered it again today.

Wow - how cool that he got to see his beloved broccoli growing in a garden, then pick one to take home! Valentina loves broccoli too; just the tops though. When I slip pieces of the stem onto her plate, she picks them out, dramatically holds them up in the air, and wrinkles her nose like they're little pieces of garbage...
